Summer Program Inventory
The annual Summer Program Inventory helps UC San Diego understand what programs are planned for the upcoming summer and identify campus-wide needs early.
Who Should Complete the Inventory?
UC San Diego faculty and staff sponsoring or coordinating a summer program, conference or activity should submit the inventory, regardless of duration or modality.
Submitting the inventory communicates your intent to operate a summer program. Program approval, funding and operational decisions remain the responsibility of the sponsoring unit, while individual campus services are subject to provider availability, requirements and applicable agreements.
External organizations: The Summer Program Inventory is NOT intended for external organizations. External organizations interested in residential or day-use accommodations should contact meetings@ucsd.edu to request support.

Programs should submit their inventory by this date to support coordinated planning for Summer 2027.
Form Closure
The inventory will close on this date. Late planning requests may encounter limited availability depending on capacity, staffing and space.
Your Submission Matters
The inventory gives Summer Planning and campus partners an early view of anticipated summer activity so needs can be identified and coordinated as planning gets underway.
- Supports campus planning. Helps campus partners anticipate demand for summer operations and services.
- Identifies needs early. Housing, dining, space, research, access and other operational needs are easier to address when identified in advance.
- Improves coordination. Summer Planning can help connect programs with relevant campus partners and planning resources.
- Supports program visibility. Eligible programs may be included in the Summer Program Finder and related summer communications.

Programs are responsible for reviewing applicable university requirements and completing any additional steps identified during the planning process.
