UCSD Summer offers a variety of programs for all age groups whether you are a parent looking for a non-credit camp for your children or an undergraduate student in need of a credit bearing program. Summer programs include a wide range of experiences including elementary through high school as well as university and beyond. You can utilize the Summer Program Finder tool to search for the right program for you.

Programs have varying application and registration deadlines. Many have eligibility requirements. We encourage you to review program information thoroughly and to submit any questions you have directly to the staff of your program(s) of interest.     Advanced Materials Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)

    The University of California San Diego MRSEC Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program provides full-time summer undergraduate research opportunities at the forefront of materials science and engineering. Participants in our highly collaborative and interdisciplinary program, which focuses on predictive assemblies and engineered living materials, will be fully immersed in the research laboratories of the MRSEC faculty from 5 departments across campus (Chemistry and Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, NanoEngineering, Physics), as they engage in projects with a focus in either or both experiment and theory.

    The American Indians Accessing Health Professions Program is a three day program designed to encourage more American Indian/Alaska Native students to pursue health professions.
